Grouping "Flugzeugüberführungs-Geschwader 1 - Gruppe Nord-Hansen

This interesting grouping concerns Flugzeugführer Feldwebel Hansen who served within "Flugzeugüberführungs-Geschwader 1 - Gruppe Nord".

Hansens task was to fly new or repaired planes from certain airfields to front units.

This grouping comes with several "Sonderausweise" (special permits) which state that Hansen had to be given priority under all circumstances like (fuelling,accidents,etc.)

There are also 2 "Kleiner Wehrmachtsfahrscheine" with a stamp "Vordringlich" (priority)

The importance of Hansen is evidently.

If Hansen crashed ,bailed out of his plane or in case of injuries or death ,the person who found him was obliged to warn the authorities by a special message.

Especially by the end of the war men like Hansen became even more important because of the approaching enemies and the need for planes etc.
